    ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

    Track Utilities, LLC provides mission-critical electric and telecommunications infrastructure services in the Northwest and Intermountain West.

    Track has deep, long-standing relationships with the major electric utilities and telecom providers in its territory and is unique in its ability to offer customers a full suite of aerial telecom, underground telecom, overhead electric, underground electric, joint utility trenching, and directional drilling services.

    DESCRIPTION

    We are seeking an Equipment Operator to become a part of our team!

    The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner as required for placing utilities to new and existing residential homes, multifamily and commercial units. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, trenchers, backhoes, loaders, and other pieces of equipment. (A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required for this position).

    Requirements
    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Safely operates, maneuvers, navigates, or drives vehicles or mechanized heavy construction equipment
    Uses either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes
    Coordinate with crew members in response to hand and/or audio signals
    Cleans, checks fluid levels, and conducts a visual inspection of equipment to assure your equipment is performing at optimum safety and the required paperwork, communicate need for maintenance or repair
    Uses relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards and communicates abnormal working conditions to appropriate parties
    Meets safety, company and customer specifications for all work done
    Exposes underground utilities manually
    Communicates with supervisor daily to turn in required paperwork
    Travel is required up to 50% of the time
    MINIMUM SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    Previous experience in a construction field operating heavy equipment
    Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions
    Proven ability to analyze job locations for utility lines, permitting, and traffic control in order to complete construction activities without quality defects, safety incidents or any type of property damage
    Proficient in completing daily inspections and reporting of maintenance issues on vehicles, trailers, and equipment
    Must maintain a professional working attitude with co-workers and customers
    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

    Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Idaho Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment
    Candidates must pass Criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), a Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated physical as a requirement of the job, background check and a pre-employment drug screen
    Possess a CDL
    Authorization to work in the US
