    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    ADB is seeking a Laborer to join our team. This position will assist in the installation of underground utilities. This position will assist with hand digging in trenches, filling pot holes. ADB is known in the industry for our world class culture, work stability, career development opportunities, and best in
    class vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will be safety focused, customer and quality centric, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Hand Digging and pot holing
    • Restoration
    • Spot for Utilities
    • Loading Materials
    • Verify locates are correct
    • Ensure vehicle is clean and assist with identifying hazards
    • Assist with JSA’s and constantly being on the look out for changing conditions
    • Maintains accuracy in all reporting functions
    • Wears appropriate safety apparel and is aware of and follows all established safety
    practices and procedures
    • May be required to work day, evening or night hours, overtime, weekends and out-of-town assignments as required
    • Performs other position duties when requested

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    • Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including climbing, sitting, standing, walking and driving
    • Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer and fall weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
    • Assume responsibility for work outcomes and results of other workers.
    • May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects
    being managed or coordinated
    • When working on site, will be required to wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats and life jackets

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
    • At least 1 year of experience in a construction laboring position is required
    • Approximately 1 year of experience in the Underground Utility Construction industry is
    preferred.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
