If you're at a site with full hookups this thing is great, because you don't have to worry about consistent slope, and because it doesn't flop around as much.
If you're in a situation where you are dealing with a slight uphill slope, and your water supply is unlimited, this thing is an alternative to a macerator pump. The macerator pump would be heavier and would require more fiddling, but have greater lift and would not require a water supply.
But for the extremely common situation of dumping relatively full tanks at a dump station the slinky is better, because it is faster and doesn't require as much hook up. I've gone back to using the slinky in most cases. The overall process of dumping the tanks takes several minutes longer with the solution than with the slinky.
The product itself is well made and does what its maker says it will do.

Worked as described.. Very happy with it. My sewer is about 50' away from the camper with about a 18" rise.. The sewer solution worked flawlessly.. It also did a great job of cleaning the black water tank!! I highly recommend getting one.
